Day 22 Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life.
I try to live with no regrets but I guess this post ties into day number 3's. And with that post I already am in the process of forgiving myself for. So there is nothing in my life that I wish I never done.
Hello all! This blog started as thoughts of a pregnant wife of a deployed sailor and has now turned into the thoughts of a sailor's wife, student, and mother. Not too interesting but I love looking back at my old posts and remembering :D Enjoy!
My name is Jessica and I am a proud sailor's wife (obviously), a college graduate now (yay), and a mother to a beautiful little girl and a handsome little boy. I love my job, it is extremely important to me. I absolutely love my life and now I can share it through here. Reading, scrapbooking, and crafts are the hobbies when I actually have the time too. I am definitely a planner and currently I am planning kid birthdays already! Friends and family are also important to me. I have no idea what I would do if I didn't have them all to vent to or call when my house is raining or the vehicle broke down...again haha. Now sit back and enjoy the stories of my little Rosebud and Rowboat growing up, the little rants about the Navy and the general day to day life of a wife :]
Here is my other half, high school sweetheart, my soul-mate, father of our kids, and one of the lights of my life. We met in high school back in 2005, and became a couple in 2006. He popped the question and we joined our lives together Dec. 28th, 2007 and I couldn't have been happier. Deployed or not deployed he makes me smile every single day no matter what. He makes me so happy and I thank God for bringing him into my life. He is the coolest geeky father I know and I enjoy seeing our kids follow in his footsteps.
The Princess
Roselyn was born on 6/8/10 in the wee hours of the morning. She is the princess of our family now, daddy's girl, and the absolute love of our lives. Rose met her daddy when she was 7 weeks and 1 day old and it was love at first sight. They are near inseparable when he is home and I love it. She is such a great big sister and I know she can't wait until Rowan can play with her! Her likes: Dressing up, shoes, getting her hair brushed, poking her brother, daddy's kisses and mommy's laughter, getting her clothes "hulked" off and bath time. Dislikes: being contained in anyway, sitting down, staying clean, and being told what to do.
The Prince
This is my little honey. He was born on 11/18/11 at 4:15 AM. He was a bulky 5 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long. He came out earlier then expected and was deemed a late term preemie. We all think he just wanted to be out by Thanksgiving lol. After a long 2 week stay in the NICU he was able to come home and make our family complete. He is a healthy little bugger and is such a joy to have around! He loves to smile, make silly faces, and loves looking at our faces. Definitely has character already and I think he is training us :] I want him to stay little forever but then I can not wait to see the man he will grow up to be.
